Children of Sacred Heart

These images depict a variety of children at the Sacred Heart Mission in Nespelum.  These images do not depict First Communions specifically, but rather images of Native children and families in front of the mission.  The Jesuit priests often had strong interactions with the Native children, as often times the children were more willing to learn English, and learn catecism.
