Father Griva SJ
A prominent missionary in this time was Father Edward Griva SJ, who had worked extensively with Native groups in the Colville Reservation during the period of 1900-1948. In this time, he helped establish over 15 missions in the Pacific Northwest, wrote several Native-language dictionaries, and participated in a great deal of missionary work in the Plateau region. Father Griva facilitated and led annual Corpus Christi Processions in this area with other local Missions.
