Weaving Our Sisters Voices

Digital Humanities Website Personnel

Dr. Katey Roden

Dr. Katey Roden is the director of the newly-formed Digital Humanities Initiative within Gonzaga's College of Arts and Sciences, and she has been actively engaged with the direction of this website. With her background in devotional poetry and prose, Dr. Roden embraced the opportunity to work on this project that connects gender relations in religious culture with the democratization of access to information.

Elise Kuterbach

Elise Kuterbach (GU '19) is the Editorial & Design Consultant for the website. In 2015, she performed in Weaving Our Sisters' Voices as Deborah while taking Dr. Linda Schearing's Hebrew Bible course, which had a profound impact on her freshman year of college. She is double majoring in Writing and Sociology, with a minor in Solidarity and Social Justice, which makes her the perfect person to edit and create text and visual content for a show about empowering women's voices.

Angela Rae

Angela Rae (GU '19) is the Digital Design Architect for the website, working on making web content that is scholarly, artistic, and dynamic. She is studying Computer Science and Computational Thinking, with a concentration in Environmental Studies. It was this major program that drew Angela to Gonzaga and to this website project, as a way to look at the intersections of technology and other arts and sciences, which she hopes to apply to future work.

Janine Warrington

Janine Warrington (GU '17) is the Thematic & Content Consultant for the website. She has previously been a performer in the 2015 show, helped research and write the text for the site, and directed the 2017 tour, so her knowledge of the show has been invaluable in creating this website. As a Religious Studies major and Theatre minor hoping to become a pastor, Janine values the representation of overlooked stories that WSV tells as a taste of all that the bible has to offer.
